At the year’s end, we all anticipate what new beginnings we can expect from ourselves and others. We hold our aspirations high with hopes that on our new, fresh page we will write on the stars of our hopes and dreams.
What we need to remember is to not turn tomorrow’s page over our to-do list of today. Though it is an exciting thought that the new dawn of a new year can bring much promise–promise yourself today that you’ll be the best you can be in the actions you can do now. In reference to the big end we will all meet, author Diane Mariechild said, “Perform each act as if it were you last.” Do so, and see how much better you are today.
