*Note to The One Reader*
I wanted to stay inventive with this memory project. In keeping with tradition of Words·of·the·One, I thought it would be great to write daily posts with words derived from the Desiderata. I’ll keep The Words brief, as too not get distracted from the current mission at hand, head, and heart.
Desired Things = Latin: Desiderata
Desire is nothing more than a manifestation of perceived void in One’s life. A thing is merely a tangible concept with limitless possibilities.
Desiderata (as B*, aka The·One, remembers it by heart so far…)
Go placidly amidst the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements, as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, it is a real possession in the changing…
